January 16, 2003, LINK Medical Computing is pleased to announce the beta release of the next generation of LINKTools®: A webbased HL7 interfacing.

In December of 2002 LINK Medical released its 5th generation of LINKTools® IDK toolkit. The New release of LINKTools® version 5.0 includes added features and enhancement, some of the new features are:
1. Dynamic Mapper "Global Function" added features:
Back up input files: allows users to backup original files during data transformation
Mixed input for foreign clients: allows data transformation of both English and foreign languages of the input files
MS Message Queue native
2. XML related : allows users to easily configure the Mapper template for user's DTD's, the HL7 version 2.3.1 XML DTD's and W3C schema.
3. LTDB application enhancement: allows a single instance for Philips Trace Master ORDERLINK Acquisition station
4. New Date and Time Stamp: allows users to generating tracking numbers for outbound interface from the Mapper
5. Several more of Field Rules Mapping
