Testing the LINKMED® Interface SystemAfter installing, registering and configuring the LINKMED®
Interface, use the following procedures to test the system
Note: You can create both test interface
environment and production interface environment on the
same LINKMED® Interface server (cost-effective), however
your test system may needs a separate LINKMED® HL7
TCP/IP Receiver and Transmitter to communicate with your
client test system. You can purchase additional licenses
                      of the LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP
Receiver and Transmitter pack for this purpose
To test the LINKMED® Interface System
The following described LINK Medical recommended
steps when testing your LINKMED® Interface System

Configure the Inbound communication (TCP/IP Receiver)
to receive and send HL7 Acknowledgements for HL7 ADT or
                      Order messages
                      Start the LINKMED® Scheduler (pre-configured
                        interface only) for inbound interface
Download some orders using WebSelect client
application or import parsed data to your system
Configure the output template or transcription
                        template if required
Perform an outbound test result reporting
or transcribed report by uploading the report files to
LINKMED® Interface Module and generate HL7 result
                        message (ORU or MDM)
Verify that the HL7 result message is
configured according to the customer's requirements if
not adjust the Result Mapper Template if necessary
