Issue
Solution
LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP Receiver
The Receiver shows no connection Make sure site TCP/IP client has the correct IP address and Port Numbers of the Receive to send HL7 messagesr. Restart the receiver if necessary
The Receiver keeps rejecting HL7 messages

This common issue is related to your Receiver HL7 ACK configuration. Open the receiver Options, click on the Options button in ACK column(Bottom left) and click on the down arrow in Processing ID and choose Not Applicable from the list. Click OK to save your configuration then OK again to restart the TCP/IP Receiver

Windows® pop-up message
***" This Program has performed illegal function" *** and shutdown the Receiver

This is due to anti-vurus On Access scan. Configure the anti-virus On Access scan to exclude the LINKMED folder and sub-folders from being scan
Note: Routine schedule scan once a day or once a week is OK

The Receiver HL7 ACK seems to have two separate segments when acknowledged the HL7 ADT/Order messages (report from client admin)

This is due to ASCII file conversion from Windows® ASCII to Unix ASCII. Open the receiver options, click on the Options button in ACK column and check the following receiver ACK parameters:
***" Don't Send Header for ACK/NAK" *** and
***" Don't Send Trailer for ACK/NACK"***
should resolve the issue

The Receiver intermittenly reject HL7 message or can not keep connections
Changing The Receiver port is recommended (receiver port conflect)
How to re-configure the LT Receiver

Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware while protecting your server sometimes corrupt the LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP Receiver configuration files (from on access scanning), to restore these files you need to manually delete and re-configure your LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP Receivers configuration files by deleting the corresponding LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP UDA files , for example: the LTRXFSV1.UDA or the LTRXMSV1.UDA configuration files
Note: You do this step only after you have configured your Anti-Virus On-Access Scan to exclude the LINKMED® Interface folder and sub-folders

LINKMED® HL7 TCP/IP Transmitter
The Transmitter keep sending the same message over and over, which cause queue messages to backup

There are two possible causes:
1- The Transmitter did not receive proper HL7 Acknowledgements for the HL7 message sent
Solution: Ask site to send proper HL7 Acknowledgements
2- The server did not send Acknowledgement within the default 4 second waiting for Message Acknowledgements
Solutions: Increase the Transmitter Time delay from 4 seconds to 20 Seconds or more (see LT TCP/IP Tx Config_2.2)

LINKMED® Interface Module
HL7 ADT/Order messages are processed by the LT Interface Engine but there are no files written out to the output folder nor written into the Interface Intermediate Database When site HL7 message delimiters is different from the default HL7 standard delimiters of the Mapper
Solution: Open the Mapper file for the interface and also open the TCP/IP receiver log file and copy the HL7 delimiters' being used from the Receiver log file into the Inbound Input delimiters on the Mapper file, Save your Mapper configuration and re-test
